News and updates from the district0x Network

This past week the first of six Aragon-powered Meme Factory Surveys concluded on August 20th and received over 60 million votes. Following this, the second of six Aragon-powered Meme Factory Survey dApps was launched and will run until Monday August 27th. We included the results from the first survey and answers to an updated FAQ section in our Community Poll Update & FAQ #2. This week the third Meme Factory survey for Homepage Lists will begin on Monday August 27th. Additionally our bi-weekly Dev Update was released with information regarding Ethlance and d0xTasks.

Below are updates on the community side of things:

• We added a new feature to our Telegram community that allows members to up and down vote each other, generating a reputation system similar to Reddit. You can use this feature by replying to a message with “+” or “-”.
• A new “captcha” feature was added to Telegram to eliminate spammers and bots from the group. If the button below the new welcome message is not pressed, the account will be removed automatically.
• Users in Telegram can now reply with /report (or !report) to report a message. After three reports, the message is forwarded to the moderators for review.
• There is still an “Easter egg” hidden somewhere across our social media presence. Considering no one has found it we will provide a single hint each week until it is found. hint: scroll down.
• There is a new leveling system in our Telegram channel.

• The district0x team is looking to add more Clojurescript developers. We also still need auditors of all experience levels to offer eyes and hands reviewing Meme Factory’s smart contracts!
