It looks like we’re even deeper now. Guess it’s time for another round…🍻
It’s meme season and you know what that means? It’s time for another round of tedious contests that will flex your little crypto muscles.
You will need to be brave, you will need to be creative, and it will need to be DANK AF.
Yes we shall drink the dank and be merry, we will dance with our relatives who hate our silly crypto economic role playing strategy games, and we will laugh in the face of hatred and division.
Let the memes glue us back together. That’s right frens… We will make memes, not war.

New to Meme Factory?
Meme Factory is part incentive-driven voting game (AKA a Token-Curated Registry), part digital art marketplace, and part patronage/collecting platform. It’s like Patreon but with memes. 😜
Thanks to the Ethereum and IPFS, Meme Factory can be be entirely community-controlled too!
Meme Factory gave away the vast majority of the curation tokens (DANK) to active governance participants during the launch. So the community has the say in what art is accepted, they can propose and vote on changes to how the app functions, and can even participate in upcoming larger decisions by staking the District Network Token (DNT) to the Meme Factory Aragon entity.
As an artist, if your art makes it through the voting game into the Dank Registry, you can then mint your art as a rare collectible token on the Ethereum blockchain. You can even list it on the marketplace or Open Sea.
As a collector, you can support your favorite artists, build your collection and trade memes. Some artists even offer perks like many patronage platforms. Be on the lookout for our “Verified Artists” offering perks in exchange for their memes.
As a Token Holder, you can stake DNT towards the Meme Factory DAO, giving you a say in how the platform develops.
🚨Contest Rules and Prizes🚨
This time around we will be upping the ante. The winners will share in a prize pool of 500k DANK and an allotment of DNT so you can stake it into Meme Factory to participate in the Meme Factory DAO. We will also be raising the DANK deposit requirement to 5000 DANK to give people more possible DANK to earn when challenging or voting.
You have three tasks to choose from:
- Create a meme creation tutorial. We will vote for the best tutorial on stream. The winner will get 0.5 ETH, 500,000 DANK, and 5000 DNT.
- Create a meme (Any theme) using your art tools of choice then submit to the registry. It must be DANK art. No image ripping or stealing art. It must be original. The top three entries will share the prize of 300,000 DANK, 5000 DNT, and .1 ETH each.
❗ YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR MEMES TO THE WEBSITE ❗
- The Meme must be the correct size of 2:3
- The deadline is the next Dapp Digest stream (Thursday the 24th, 3PM PDT).
- All entries adhering to the rules will get 1000 DANK
- All entries that make it into the registry will equally share 200,000 DANK
- The top three entries with the most voting activity by unique addresses and total tokens voted (Win or lose) will win a share of .3 ETH, 3000 DNT, and 30,000 DANK. (Totals Subject to change based on contest turnout) Bonus: You will get an original piece by artist RektMeRev:
